Equipped with the Upgraded Toyota Safety Sense (Toyota Collision Avoidance Assist Package). By expanding the detection range of the millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera, it enhances existing functions while adding PDA Predictive Driving Assist, EDSS Emergency Driving Stop System, and RSA Road Sign Assist. This further prevents accidents, reduces traffic casualties, alleviates driving burden, and enables smarter, more reassuring driving.

RSA Road Sign Assist

Assists in recognizing registered road signs ahead and displays them on the instrument panel. It can also activate alerts to prevent driver violations (e.g., speeding).

Drivers can enable/disable RSA settings and choose whether to combine it with display alerts.

If the vehicle exceeds speed limits or ignores “No Entry” signs, RSA highlights/flashes the “displayed traffic sign” on the instrument panel and emits beeps. Drivers can enable/disable RSA settings and choose whether to combine it with beeps.

PDA Predictive Driving Assist

Uses millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera to detect preceding vehicles, maintaining speed-appropriate following distance. Stops when preceding vehicle stops; resumes follow after driver-initiated start. Reduces driving burden on highways.

Additionally, during DRCC operation, the set speed can be adjusted based on RSA-detected speed limits.

PCS Pre-Collision System (with Pedestrian Detection)

Detects vehicles/pedestrians (day/night)/bicyclists (day/night)/motorcycles (daytime) via millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera. Alerts via warning tone/multi-information display upon collision risk. Pre-collision brake assist activates during brake application; automatic pre-collision braking activates without driver braking.
